PCH El Edén

Since it began commercial operations in 2017, El Edén has established itself as an iconic small hydroelectric power plant in Pensilvania, Caldas. Harnessing the flow of the La Miel River, this run-of-river plant has two Pelton turbines that generate up to 20 MW, feeding energy into the National Interconnected System for the Unregulated Wholesale Market through a PPA contract. A water pipeline of almost 6.7 km and a drop of 430 m guarantee clean and constant production.
