Mercurio is Proeléctrica's first solar self-generation project, an initiative that reflects the company's commitment to sustainable energy solutions tailored to the needs of its customers. Located in the Mercurio Shopping Center in Soacha, Cundinamarca, this 250 kWp photovoltaic system consists of 944 solar panels and generates clean energy for the commercial establishment's own consumption.
Since it began operating, it has prevented the emission of more than 36.39 tons of CO₂ equivalent, which translates into the environmental benefit of planting approximately 220 mature trees. Mercurio is a clear example of how Proeléctrica supports its customers in meeting their strategic goals, integrating energy efficiency, sustainability, and business value.
